A Selection of Kind Words

"Your photographs of Australian Jewish musicians were the centrepiece of the Australian section and evoked much interest and admiration. On behalf of the Jewish Museum of Australia, I have great pleasure in thanking you for your part in this exciting project … We may all be justly proud of the result."

Anna Epstein, curator: An Old Song in a New Land – the 4000-year love affair between Jews and music

"Thank you so much Bridget - I’m really pleased with the photos. Ricordi and everyone else who’s seen them agree."

Ross Edwards, composer (for a series of photographs produced as covers for Edwards’ scores, published by Ricordi).

"Dear Bridget … Nick showed me the photos on his new CD – yours are … STUNNING as usual; you feel as though you can smell the fruit, it’s so voluptuously tangible!"

Winsome Evans, composer, performer, lecturer, commenting on a CD cover image for composer Nick Wales.

"Dear Bridget … I have received your lovely photo, I feel it is just me, as I am! My daughter, Christine, is very happy with it too …  You certainly put me at ease when you were here. Needless to say, I am often asked for a photo to accompany biographical information for publicity purposes, would it be possible for me to have copies of this one? … Many thanks, Miriam."

 The late Miriam Hyde, composer

"Thank you so much, Bridget. The photos are just great!"

 The late Peter Sculthorpe, composer

"Dear Bridget, thank you for the excellent photographs – the following people should have copies … I am grateful for your great talent."

 Roger Woodward, pianist

"Gosh, I get happier and happier with those last photos you took! I’m getting such nice feedback on them."

 Bernadette Balkus, pianist
